As fate would have it back in 2014, a church priest and an American English principal met to discuss the conception of creating an English center “providing the best possible English education for the best possible price imaginable for that type of quality education.” Thus, the St. Joseph English Center was born.
The first St. Joseph English Center was established on August 25, 2014 at Bac Dung Parish in Go Vap District by co-founders Pastor Fr. Cao Thang and Principal Joseph with the same sole intention of “providing the absolute best quality English education possible for the best price possible.”
Although the St. Joseph English Center was created inside a Catholic church, the St. Joseph English center’s motto has always been “the center’s doors will always be open to everyone and anyone regardless of religion, race, or status and the only determining factor of acceptance into the St. Joseph English Center is the student’s ability and passion to learn English.” Since then, the St. Joseph English Center has been a place providing quality English education to thousands of students.
We are proud to say that all St. Joseph English classes are fully taught by 100% certified and qualified foreign English teachers equipped with a quality Vietnamese TA as support. Each classroom is fully equipped with modern technology and supplies such as air conditioner, wifi, and a television monitor to help provide the quality learning needed for all students at the St. Joseph English Center.
The St. Joseph English Center looks to continue and always maintain this quality in hopes that this is the investment needed to help provide the success for the future generations to come.
Core values:
– “To only provide the best quality possible for the best and cheapest price possible!”
– “We do not just teach at the SJE centers, but we EDUCATE here.”
– “There is no discrimination of any kind whatsoever! Our doors are open to anyone and everyone, granted they have a passion for learning and they are fully capable of learning.”
– “There must be an act of “charity” from the teachers/employees/staff or anyone associated with the SJE name. Meaning there must be a “goodness from the heart.” For instance, the teacher must have “heart and soul” to be suitable teaching at SJE.”
– “Always try to do the right thing.”
